This blog tells the story of the building of our new home at 1805 Park Oak Drive in Roseville. Our architect/contractor is Chris Taylor. Todd Barbee did the foundation work, so he is responsible for the house staying in place! Ken Williams and his son Daniel are the artists who pretend to be carpenters who did the framing. The shape of the house is really their triumph!

Another view of the GIGANTIC retaining walls holding up the garage floor. The floor of the main level of the house will be about 4 feet down from the top of that wall.
