This is the framing for the indoor fireplace. It will be 20 feet tall.

There are finally back stairs! Now I can stop falling down the hill trying to get to the back yard!

Looking up toward the outside fireplace. From the ground to the top of it is 45 feet. The open arch area is 20 feet high, and encloses and outside deck. The perfect spot for sitting outside! It's already my facvorite part of the house. I sit there on my beach chair a lot of the time.

The front is pretty much framed now, as you can see. The big opening is going to be the turret entry -- someday!
