The door to the garage from the laundry room. All the paint is done on the inside. We still need exterior paint, which will come with the stucco, and the garage needs to be painted (it is textured already).

What's left? Cabinets, flooring, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, carpet and a few other things. The fixtures are all in the living room of my current house. It looks like Home Depot in here. Plus, I started packing this week. I guess we're really going to move.

The move in date is February 1, but I think it will sliip a couple of weeks. No big deal -- I'll be travelling a ton between now and then anyway. I'm getting ready to move though!!!! Posted by Picasa

A thermostat! When we came in the house today it was sooo hot. They're drying the texture prior to painting. Posted by Picasa

James checking out the texture, baseboards and crown molding in the media room. The crown molding here and in the dining room are recessed about 1/2 inch. There will be rope light installed in there on a dimmer. That will be a great effect. The holes in the walls (and the cords coming out) are part of his whole house audio video system. This room has 6 speaker holes. In all, he ran several miles of cable throughout the house. Every room has in ceiling or in wall speakers. Posted by Picasa

The closet organization systems are in today. I'm still convinced the closets are too small. James will just have to find another place to put his clothes! Posted by Picasa

The crown molding is in! Baseboards too, in all the rooms that aren't getting tile. Posted by Picasa

The tile border for the guest and downstairs bathroom showers. Posted by Picasa

We got home from Maui today to find a whole bunch of stuff had been done! This is the border in my shower. This will also be used to trrim the sinks and bath in the master bathroom. Posted by Picasa

Here is the guest room shower. The stone looks amazing. It is an antiqued, tumbled travertine. This is where I blew the budget completely, but I think it will be worth it when this stone is installed on the big expanse of floor in the great room. Posted by Picasa

This is the stone that is being used in the showers (all three of them). They each have different borders and decorative pieces. This stone is also going to be used on the floor, but in different sizes. These are 18" x 18" squares for the baths. Posted by Picasa
