Here's the side wall to the bedroom the next day! The walls go up in a hurry!!!!

The first set of stairs are in today too. These are the ones leading down from the garage to the upper floor. This is the first time I've been able to walk around up there without climbing a ladder or taking my life in my hands as I scaled a wall.

This is the view out my bedroom window. You can see the wall is up!

Euler checking out the progress from the garage stairs. He has never lived where there are stairs, and he is pretty unsurew what to do with them. Once when James and I took him hiking, weh ad to cross a metal grate by a dam and Euler decided it would be easier to just swim across the lake than walk on the open grate. We finally got him out of the water, and James had to carry a soaking wet Euler up the stairs and across the grate. He won't get that kind of help in the house! He's oging to have to learn how to walk on the stairs.

The downstairs is completely framed... not just the back wall, but the inside of all the rooms down there! I walked around from my office through the hall and to the media room and then in and out of the bathroom and the closets. Pictures tonight or tomorrow!

HVAC is in! There are 3 units for the house. They are mounted underneath in the ~2000 square feet of crawl space. James is worried they take up too much space -- I think there's plenty left, and since it's where all my steuff will be, I'm the one who counts! He's taking all the garage space!

This is obviously the downstairs. Next step -- floorboards!!!!!!!

The garage took no time at all. This is the next day! I hope the framing of the rest goes as fast!

Yep, Ken and the guys started working on the garage while they're waiting for the inspector. You can see me pointing out all the fine details on the blueprints! Well, maybe not!
