The garage floor, now full of gravel. It took 12 truck and trailer loads of gravel to fill it in. Remember, the retaining wall on the back side is 8 feet tall! To the left of the garage you can see the circular foundation wall where the entry turret will be (the floor will be just above the top of that wall. The rectangle to the left is the covered porch. If you are standing on the porch facing into the trees, the front door will be on your right.

The framing is off the walls. The next step is to pour the garage floor.

Foundation update

The first foundation step is complete, and now the second one is too. Here is the foundation right before the pour of the retaining walls.
